Last spring we worked together with a group of third graders from the middle school of Monzuno and the children shared that they were disappointed on the day of commemoration 2024, because they had prepared a text to be read from the stage before the arrival of the heads of state of Italy and Germany, but they felt as if the people in the square were not listening to them.

The commemorations are an important opportunity not only for the remembrance of the past but also for creating a sense of community.

But often, the participants concentrate mostly on the presence of institutions and officially invited people, considering the other components as less relevant.

In particular, the young generations are often called upon, but are not always listened to. Not everyone truly pays attention to their thoughts, their needs or their plans.

We promised them that we would give them the space they desired and here we are, sharing with you their authentic and relevant thoughts.
